                              The term of the President of India Ramnath Kovind was  gazette notification. With conversion and bifurcation of

                                                                               Parliament House in New Delhi and Legislative Assembly
                                                                               buildings in all states on July 17, 2022. The election process
                                                                               concluded on July 21, 2022 with counting of votes.

                                                                               Droupadi  Murmu  emerged  as  the  winner  in  the
                                                                               Presidential election by defeating Yashwant Sinha. She
                                                                               secured 6,76,803 votes over her opponent who polled
                                                                               3,80,177  votes.  P.C.  Mody,  Secretary  General,  Rajya
                                                                               Sabha who was the Returning Officer for the election,
                                                                               certified her victory.
                                                                               On July 25, 2022 Droupadi Murmu was sworn in as the
                                                                               Fifteenth  President  of  India.  She  is  only  the  second
                                Droupadi Murmu sworn in as the President of India on July 25, 2022  woman,  and  first  person  from  the  Schedule  Tribe
