                              In Nagaland, smallest of the three poll bound states, 2315  Nagaland recorded 87.38 percent voter turnout in the
                              polling  stations  were  set  up  to  capture  the  verdict  of  single phased polling on February 27.
                              13.17 lakh electors. Elections  took place in 2291 polling
                              stations in 59 constituencies, as the Akuluto seat was   Created under Assam Reorganisation (Meghalaya) Act,
                              won  uncontested.  As  many  as  387  booths  were   1969, Meghalaya gained the status of a full-fledged state
                              completely women operated, whereas seven were all-  in  January,  1972.  The  state  had  21.64  lakh  voters  for
                              youth managed and three were completely PwD run. A   whom 3482 polling stations were set up. The number of
                              total  of  183  candidates  including  four  women   polling stations signifies a jump of nearly 13 percent over
                              representing 12 political parties and independents were  the previous elections in 2018. A total of 369 candidates
                              in the fray. Around 7000 PwD electors and 36400 voters  including 36 women vied for 59 seats, even as election to
