The last notable elections under recognisable COVID-19 2022. It became imperative to notify elections in those
conditions took place during March and April, 2022. The states under Section 15 of the Representation of the
terms of the Legislative Assemblies of Goa, Manipur, People Act, 1951. On January 8, 2022 the elections to the
Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh were expiring on aforesaid five states were announced in New Delhi by the
various dates between March 15, 2022 and May 14, then Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra.
