Foreign dignitaries have been visi ng India to witness the Parliamentary Cons tuencies to see the poll preparedness,
world's largest elec ons since 1952. More than 65 dispatch of polling par es and the massive logis c
representa ves from 20 Elec on Management Bodies arrangements put in place to ensure a free, fair and
(EMBs) across the world arrived in New Delhi ahead of par cipatory elec on. On the polling day (May 12, 2019)
the sixth and penul mate phase of the Seventeenth the delegates visited several polling sta ons in North West
General Elec ons (May 12, 2019). Delhi, East Delhi, Chandni Chowk, South Delhi and Gurgaon
to see the polling process and experience the fes ve air
They were welcomed and briefed on various aspects of around the polls. They interacted with the Chief Electoral
democracy and elec ons in India by the Commission. A day Officer of Delhi to understand elec ons from a state level
before the polling, the delegates visited South Delhi, East perspec ve. They also visited the Elec on Museum at CEO
Delhi, Chandni Chowk, West Delhi and Gurgaon office Delhi.
