                                                           India is the largest and one of the most diverse democracies of the world. Election Commission of
                                                           India is a Constitutional Body created under Article 324 of the Constitution of India. It was set up
                                                           on 25th January, 1950 and plays a crucial role in upholding the democratic principles of India by
                                                           conducting elections that are free, fair, and transparent. The ECI's commitment to make the
                                                           election process more “inclusive, accessible, and participative” is also re ected in its efforts to
                                                           ensure 100% participation from vulnerable groups, with targeted interventions for women,  rst-
                                                           time voters, Senior Citizens and PwDs. Innovations like Home Voting and the use of technology
                                                           have signi cantly brought convenience for voters.
                                                           On January 25, 2024, the Election Commission of India celebrated its 75th year of service to the
                                                           Nation. On the same day, the Commission also unveiled “Chunav ka Parv, Desh ka Garv” as the
                                                           theme and tagline for campaign of 18th General Elections- 2024, to celebrate the festive spirit of
                                                           Indian elections. To mark this momentous occasion, and in light of the 2024 Parliamentary Elections;
                                                           the Department of Posts issued a commemorative postage stamp on “Inclusive Elections in
            Editorial Team:   Sanjay Kumar, Deputy Election Commissioner  India”, to honour the Election Commission of India (ECI) for its signi cant role in ensuring inclusive
