Assembly of Bihar were announced by the then Chief e 3 n c i e Phase 1

Conference in New Delhi. He pointed out that the P n s m b October 28
decision to hold assembly elec ons in Bihar was not a c o v e BIHAR

misadventure. It was, in fact, a me culously planned 7 N Legisla ve
exercise. He described the Elec on Commission's Assembly Elec ons
decision to conduct the poll amidst COVID-19 crisis as a 2020
“Leap of Faith” but not a leap in the dark.

Bihar Legisla ve Assembly elec ons were planned in
three phases for 243 Assembly Cons tuencies including
38 reserved for Schedule Caste and 02 for Scheduled
Tribe candidates.
